Average Golf Club
Community rules
Threeball Society is for average golfers who want good people and great times. These rules keep it that way. Break them and you're out.
- Be decentTreat people how you'd want your playing partner to treat you. Banter's fine. Being nasty isn't.
- Be realUse your real first name, a photo of you (not your dog, not Tiger), and an honest handicap. No pretending to be someone else.
- 18 and over onlyYou must be at least 18 to use Threeball Society.
- It's about golfThis is for finding games and golf mates. It's not a dating app, and it's not for selling, recruiting or spam.
- No means noIf someone says no, doesn't reply or goes quiet, leave it there. Don't keep messaging, and don't try to reach them another way.
- Zero toleranceNo harassment, threats, hate, bullying, or sexual messages or photos. No discrimination about anyone's race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, age or anything else.
- Show up, or say soIf you've agreed a tee time, turn up. If you can't make it, tell them as early as you can.
- Keep it safeMeet at the course, not at someone's home. Read our safety tips.
- Respect the clubFollow the rules, dress code and etiquette of whatever course you're playing. Repair your pitch marks.
- Speak upIf someone breaks these rules, report them from their profile or your chat. They won't know it was you.
What happens if someone breaks the rules
We read every report. Depending on what happened, we may warn someone, suspend them for a while or ban them for good, and we may remove anything they've posted. Where someone could be in danger, we may pass information to the police.
